4 daughters pub is in one of the old brick buildings on main street here in Medford.  It just opened this fall, is two levels with live music on the weekends.  The upstairs is an ultra comfortable bar with pool tables, couches, some great beers on tap, fair amount of single malt scotch and fair food.  The downstairs is more of the same with out the couches, but where a family can go for lunch and where the band sets up.  The pub is coming along nicely but they are still figuring out some of the service issues so be patient while they work it out. The menu is eclectic, the food fair to good  but they could go out on a limb with some real Iirish fare.  Corned beef and Cabbage, Irish Stew, Potato dishes.  We do really enjoy going here for lunch on the weekend and playing a little pool.  It's nice and relaxing during the day and  rowdy during the evenings.  I recommend it and hpeofully it will get nothing but better.  Oh did I mention it smoke free.  They bring the quality of the service and food up and they could be 4 starsd soon.
