This scotch from Campbeltown is golden in color with a orange tinge.  Its nose is not peat but does remind me of the sea, is slightly medicinal.  First taste sharp bite in the beginning to smooth vanilla middle with a long finish.  It reminds more of a speyside than any island scotch, with highland type finish.  This is my first Campbeltown scotch, though interesting an a well aged scotch it dows not compare to Talisker or Laphroaig scotch.  In a pinch I'll take it over blended.
