The nose has sweet peat smell, initial taste is smooth then moving into a long finish with just a touch of bite. It has a smoky flavor with a nice smooth middle. The finish let's you know its been there but just makes you want to take another sip.  I've been drinking on this bottle for about a month now and I've decided its my number 1 scotch firght now. so the rating is going to 9.5
