Nose is neutral, the taste of Balvenie scotch comes shinning through though, you can taste the 12 year old all oak but with a sweeter port taste and very smooth finish. It has bite in the middle a nice long finish to a sweet port flavor. I like starting with sweet oak balvenie to the bite of single cask to a smooth sweeter finish of the port. 9.0
