Though the lodge has been updated it is an older resort.  The rooms are large with seperate bedroom, living area, full kitchen, bathroom with a extra large shower.  But for the price there are some issues.  The bed was great but the couch and chair barely comfortable.  The TV's were old tube style with no dvd player.  The coffee maker was a cheap 2 cup variety that one sees at Motel 6.  Food at the reosrt is good, though we only had breakfast at the resort.  The gym is quite small and due to be remodeled.  Because this is the members lodge there seem to be a lot of place that guests are not welcome.  This sours the experience to see the "Memebers Only" signs around.  So overall the setting, views are great, the room fair, the amenties fair to poor.  Taking in to consideration that there are very few rooms at the resorts they should give the guest the run of the place and treat them like a member.  If I were to stay in this area again I would stay at Loews resort hotel up the hill on the same golf courses.
