The pour is dark rich burgundy color with good viscosity.  The nose is slightly closed though a clear fruit nose also comes through.  The taste though is in the superior level, a very nice fruit up front smooth structured middle with soft tannin finish.  You can find black berry, chocolate, and tobacco on the palette.  This will be a good wine into 2012, but is ready to drink now.
